Bauta Exhibition

As the day of our ‘Communities’ exhibition draws near we are all busy with the final preparation of our six individual photographic projects for our University assignment.

My friend Tim Swain has given me access to his recently opened art gallery in Burry Port, ‘Studio 46’. This has enabled me to assembly the Medieval rope bed I manufactured to display my exhibition photographs and prepare a sequenced layout of my prints.

The subjects for my project have been the Cardiff Castle Garrison who have amazed me by their commitment to authenticity and passion to share and involve others in their Living History interests.

The ‘Communities’ project has been a fascinating project for all of us; it’s taken us into hitherto uncharted waters and we’ve all met many intriguing and engaging people. I have been particularly enthralled by the members of the Cardiff Castle Garrison and I am very grateful for their cooperation.

Our exhibition takes place on Friday 16th December at the YMCA theatre in Cardiff. We’re only there for one day, so please come to see our show, which is on from 6pm to 9pm.
